Two Panoramic Padel Courts Illuminate a New Sports Landmark

At Yoro, Honduras, UNIPADEL has delivered two panoramic padel courts. These courts retain the openness of the sports space while enhancing the modern feel of the venue with a "blue lawn" style protective system. Equipped with nighttime lighting, lounge tables and chairs, and sunshades, the courts are bathed in the glow of the setting sun during the day and transform into a brightly lit leisure and sports center at night. Even in rainy weather, the transparent fencing buffers wind and rain, making the sports experience more comfortable. Now, it has become a popular gathering and sports venue for local young people.

Client Concerns: How to balance practicality and aesthetics?

  • Tropical Climate Adaptation: Honduras is rainy and sunny. How can the court provide rain and sun protection without obstructing visibility?
  • Experience Differentiation: There are already established Padel courts in the area. How can the design make the new court more attractive while controlling maintenance costs?
  • Style Harmony: The client wants the court to have a "high-end" feel while blending into the surrounding residential and natural environment, avoiding any jarring contrast.

UNIPADEL's Solution: Addressing Multiple Needs

In response to customer inquiries, UNIPADEL offered a combined solution of "panoramic + modular functionality":

1. Panoramic Enclosure System: Balancing Transparency and Protection

Utilizing a combination of a "black galvanized frame + high-density hot-dip galvanized mesh": the mesh effectively prevents direct damage from tropical rainstorms while maintaining an open view of the field; the black frame and mesh create a visual effect reminiscent of blue grass, enhancing the modern aesthetic and mitigating sunlight reflection, adapting to the local strong sunlight environment.

2. Modular Facilities: Low-Cost Experience Upgrade

Moveable rest tables and chairs, sunshades, and nighttime lighting are integrated around the field, eliminating the need for additional structures, reducing costs, and allowing the field to flexibly switch between "sports space" and "social space"; the lighting system uses energy-efficient LED lights, adapting to local electricity usage habits and reducing long-term maintenance costs.

3. Color and Environment Integration

Blue Field + Natural Connection The choice of blue as the main color of the field not only creates a visual contrast with the black protective system, but also echoes the Honduran sky and sunset atmosphere; the gravel ground and greenery around the field are preserved, allowing the modern stadium to blend naturally into the surrounding residential and vegetation environment, avoiding style conflict.
